GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE RENTAL OF CHARMING GUEST ROOMS AT AUX HEURES BLEUES

THE CUSTOMER WHO COMPLETES THE BED & BREAKFAST BOOKING FORM ON THE https://www.auxheuresbleues.com WEBSITE OR WHO MAKES THE REQUEST BY ANY OTHER MEANS ACCEPTS, WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION, THE TWELVE ARTICLES OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE BELOW.

Article 1 PURPOSE
This contract is intended for the exclusive use of booking a stay in a guest room. The staff of “AUX HEURES BLEUES” undertakes to welcome guests in a way that facilitates their stay and their knowledge of the Vaucluse region.

Article 2 DURATION OF STAY
The contract is concluded for a fixed period between the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES” and the client making the booking. Under no circumstances may the latter claim any right to remain in the premises after the duration of the stay stipulated in this contract.

Article 3 CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT
The reservation on the https://www.auxheuresbleues.com website becomes effective when the customer has sent his/her reservation request for the planned stay AND a copy of the signed contract; AND when the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES” has sent an e-mail confirmation to the customer. Prices do not include tourist tax.
Under no circumstances may the rental agreed between the parties to this contract benefit, even partially, third parties (natural or legal persons).
Any breach of this last paragraph may result in the immediate termination of the rental to the detriment of the tenant, with the proceeds of the rental remaining the property of the owner.

Article 4 CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
All cancellations must be notified to “AUX HEURES BLEUES” by calling 06 44 10 71 23 and sending an e-mail to the following address : contact@auxheuresbleues.com. If the customer does not show up before 7 p.m. on the day stipulated in the contract, the contract becomes null and void and the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES” may dispose of the guest room(s). 
If the stay is cut short or cancelled in full on the day of arrival, the full price of the accommodation as stated in the contract remains payable in full. Additional services paid for in advance and not used will be reimbursed.

Article 5 CANCELLATION BY THE GUEST HOUSE “AUX HEURES BLEUES”
If, in the event of force majeure, the guest house cancels the booking of this contract, it must inform the customer by email or telephone as soon as possible. The customer will be reimbursed for any sums paid.
The provisions of the present article do not in any way prevent the conclusion of an amicable agreement for the purpose of accepting, by the customer, a substitute stay at a later date, offered by the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES”, in one of its suites.

Article 6 ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The customer must arrive on the day and at the time indicated in this contract: the rooms are available on arrival from 4.30pm and must be vacated before 11.30am on the day of departure.
The customer must inform the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES” in the event of late or delayed arrival or early departure.

Article 7 PAYMENT AND BALANCE
Payment must be made on entry to the guest house by credit card or in cash. Cheques are not accepted. Consumption and additional services not mentioned in this contract must be paid for on site.
In the case of a reservation by telephone or by e-mail, all services must be paid for on site at the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES”.

In the event of non-compliance with the clauses of this contract, the MAISON D’HOTES “AUX HEURES BLEUES” reserves the right to terminate the stay. The guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES ” will not be held responsible and the client will have to pay the total amount due for the stay.

Article 8 TOURIST TAX
The customer must pay the tourist tax directly upon arrival at the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES”.

Article 9 OCCUPANCY OF THE PREMISES – INSURANCE
The tenant must ensure peaceful enjoyment of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. In the event of non-compliance with the clauses of this contract, the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES” reserves the right to terminate the stay and will not be held responsible, and the customer will have to pay the full amount due for the stay.
Any damage or loss that may occur during the period of the contract will be invoiced to the customer. As the customer is responsible for any damage caused by his or her own actions, he or she must have Civil Liability insurance.

Article 10 CAPACITY
The present contract is established between the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES” and the customer for a given number of people, i.e. a capacity of 2 people per room. In the event that the number of people exceeds that stipulated in the reservation, the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES” may refuse additional guests. If a customer cannot accept this refusal and decides not to continue with their stay, they must pay the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES” the full amount of the price stipulated in this contract.

Article 11 PETS
Animals are not accepted in the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES”. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the customer, the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES” may refuse customers accompanied by animals. This refusal cannot be considered as a modification or breach of contract on the part of the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES”. If a customer cannot accept this refusal and decides not to continue with their stay, they must pay the total amount of the price stipulated in this contract to the guest house “AUX HEURES BLEUES”.

ARTICLE 12 DISPUTES
Any complaint must be sent by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt to the following postal address: AUX HEURES BLEUES – 1 rue Emile Char – 84800 L Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
In the event of a dispute which cannot be settled amicably, only the court of first instance or the local court in the place where the hire is made has jurisdiction.
